Our Story:

Founded in 2025, Born out of the need for business collaboration.

Coastal Connections Consulting LLC was born out of a simple but powerful vision: to help the Emerald Coast’s vibrant local businesses and vacation hosts thrive together. In towns and cities where coastal charm meets constant visitor flow, we saw untapped potential—local shops struggling to stand out, restaurants missing revenue opportunities, and vacation rentals craving that “wow” factor guests remember.

Our founder, a local with deep ties to both the retail and hospitality scenes, saw a disconnect: tourists were flooding in, but local businesses weren’t always seeing the benefit. Meanwhile, Airbnb hosts were looking for ways to stand out without adding more work. So, we decided to build the bridge.

That bridge is Coastal Connections Consulting—where local business expertise meets guest experience strategy.

Meet Daniel

Hi, I’m Daniel Grussgott — proud local of Santa Rosa Beach and the owner of Coastal Connections Consulting. Born in NY where I started my career, I moved to Providence RI. I have finally found my home, here in the Emerald Coast. After spending more than 25 years running restaurants, retail stores, and hospitality venues across the country, I decided it was time to bring that experience home and focus on helping businesses and property owners right here along the Emerald Coast.

Over the years, I’ve lead teams in everything from busy airport restaurants and cafes to multi-unit retail operations, and I’ve learned one thing that never changes: success comes from people. Building great teams, creating memorable customer experiences, turning under-performing locations around, and running smooth, stress-free operations is what I do best — and now I get to do it for the community I love most.

I started Coastal Connections Consulting to help local businesses and property owners grow, simplify their operations, and make life just a little easier. Whether that means improving sales and profit, designing better customer experiences, or just connecting people with possibilities, I’m here to roll up my sleeves and make it happen.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me soaking up the Florida sunshine, checking out new local spots, or spending time with friends.

Meet Gabriel

I am Gabriel Comrie, a bilingual professional with extensive experience in tourism logistics, onboarding and personnel training, media production, and event coordination. I lived in Europe and Latin America, so I bring a strong global perspective to my work. Born in Venezuela and raised in New York, I also spent many years in Panama City, Panama, where I honed my skills as a tourism ambassador. I became known for my ability to solve problems quickly and tailor services to meet diverse client needs. At CCC, I leverage my strong foundation in media, culture, and communication to create meaningful impact. Fluent in English and Spanish, with additional proficiency in German and Italian, I combine technical expertise with cross-cultural communication skills to deliver exceptional results in dynamic environments.
